Francis Ronald Olaki started his new spell at Buildcon FC with a last minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Cafue Celtic in the Zambian Premier League.

Olaki has been playing for SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League since January last year before his contract came to an end.

He came off the bench towards the 70th minute mark to replace Boston Muchindu who got off injured.

He scored the equalizer in the added six minutes of the game from a corner kick. Cafue Celtic had taken a first half lead through Albert Kangwanda in the 20th minute.

Olaki’s fellow countryman Keziron Kizito who is also his teammate, played fulltime in the stalemate.

Olaki automatically became the eighth Ugandan ever to play for Buildcon since the club’s promotion to the topflight in 2017.

Others are; Keziron Kizito, Isaac Isinde, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Boban Zirintusa, Hood Kaweesa, Paul Musamali and Fahad Bayo.

Olaki has previously played for KCCA, Soana FC, Albania’s KF Tirana and Extension Gunners of Botswana.

The Zambian League is also home to Ugandan goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi (Red Arrows) and midfielder Hashim Ssempala (Kabwe Warriors).
