Ugandan striker Bashir Mutanda has joined Eswatini club Mbabane Swallows on a two year contract, Swift Sports can confirm.

Mutanda has been a free agent having left UPL side Mbarara City at the end of last season.

The former SC Villa and Vipers forward will be the second Ugandan player to feature in Premier League of Eswatini since Yunus Sibira who played for Royal Leopards in 2019.

This will be the first time Mutanda plays for a club outside Uganda despite having a brief trial stint with Botswana champions Jwaneng Galaxy in 2019.
