He says,

“I can not work in an environment where i am not appreciated and so I will not play for Express again this season. They want me to return and play but I have made my decision following they way the club management handled me for participating in the Bayern tournament.”

Luswata also says his decision to depart the Wankulukuku based is due to selfishness of some top officials in the club management.

” I am parting ways with the club because there are top officials at the club who believe they love Express more than us. I have been committed to this club and i have served the club without even receiving any payments, but now it’s time to depart since I cannot play for the club with people who are looking for their personal benefits.”

In his closing remarks, Luswata thanked the fans and believes the club can avoid the drop if they win their remaining matches.

“I thank the fans for the great support shown to me during the good and bad times but it’s time for me to look for another opportunity. I wish the club well and I strongly believe they can avoid the drop if they win the remaining fixtures.”

Express is sitting 14th on the AUPL log with 26 points accumulated from 26 games. They next play URA in their subsequent league fixture at Namboole on Saturday 5th May 2018.
