Army side UPDF FC is set to announce former SC Villa tactician Steven Bogere as their new head coach before the end of this week.
Steven Bogere has been in talks with the UPDF since last week and he was today sighted at the club’s head quarters in Bombo. Small details regarding his contract will be sorted for a compromise between the two parties to be reached, and a communication will be made by the club.
Bogere is expected to fill the void left by the departure of Moses Basena who officially parted ways with UPDF last week.
He has been in charge of Big League side Plascon FC and has previously coached SC Villa, SC Victoria University, Kira Young and Buddu in the Masaza Cup competitions.
UPDF FC lies 15th on the Azam Uganda premier league table with 5 points from 7 games and will take on Police tomorrow at Bombo Military grounds.
