Muhammad Shaban scored a late winner as Onduparaka FC beat Tooro United 2-1 on Wednesday at the Greenlight Stadium to progress to the last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Gabriel Matata had given the hosts the lead in the 21st minute before Martin Arinaitwe restored parity for the visitors with a free kick strike in the 37th minute of the contest.
Shaban sent the 2016 competition runners up into the last 16 heading home a winner with just five minutes to normal time.
The Caterpillars joins Wakiso Giants, UPDF FC, Iganga Young, Mbale Heroes, Ndejje University, Kataka and Tipsa FC who progressed to the round of 16.
In the other games that were played on Wednesday, Kataka beat Paidha Black Angels 2-0 in Mbale whereas Tipsa FC overcame Kitara FC 2-1 in Koboko to seal berths into the round of 16.
Meanwhile, action in the Stanbic Uganda Cup will resume on Friday, 25th February with four games.
