Stanbic Uganda Cup: Ndejje shootout Luweero United to progress into the last 16

Ndejje University eliminated Luweero United at the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in normal time on Tuesday at the Kosovo grounds.

Brian Ssali fired the visitors into the lead in the 35th minute on the contest.

Derrick Mudali restored parity for the hosts in the 53rd minute.

Ndejje University prevailed to the last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup following a 4-2 win in the penalty shootout.

Ndejje University joins Wakiso Giants, Mbale Heroes, UPDF FC and Iganga Young FC who already progressed to the last 16.

Meanwhile, the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 continues on Wednesday 23rd with three games to be played
