Kampala Junior Team(KJT) has continued with their giant slaying exploits after ejecting BUL FC courtesy of a double from Allan Sserunga.

They have so far eliminated 2 Premier League teams after ejecting URA FC in the round of 64 at Namboole and now BUL FC.

At the beginning of the game BUL FC appeared a stronger team making various attacks with Richard Wandyaka and Hamisi Tibita combining well upfront but the KJT defenders showed great calmness and discipline. They stood firm and organized to see the game go goalless by halftime.

KJT forward Lameck Mwebaze set up a cross that beat BUL defenders Faisal Muledhu and Yusuf Mukisa only for Allan Sserunga to tap home from a close range to put the home side into the lead only 8 minutes into the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Yunus Sibira tried his luck with a long range shot but was denied by the woodwork when the ball hit the crossbar and back into play for KJT defenders to clear away from danger.

61 minutes into play, Allan Sserunga was on again with a beautiful header to finish off another Lameck Mwebaze assist and seal the lead for the home side.

Hamisi Tibita and Daniel Shabene were both denied by the woodwork in the 61st and 71st minutes respectively.

JeanPierre Muhindo who came on as a second half substitute pulled one back for the visitors with a beautiful header in a close range.

As the clock ticked down, the hosts were defending for a living as the visitors pressed harder for an equaliser but all in vain.

KJT remain the least ranked team in the competition.

In other results, defending Champions Kcca came from a goal down to level 1-1 before winning it 4-3 in penalties against Soana at Kavumba.

Synergy eliminated Busula SC on 2-1 while Proline edged UPDF 2-4 on penalties after the game had ended 0-0.
