Stanbic Uganda Cup: Isma Tambula brace sends Iganga Young into the round of 32

Isma Tambula scored a brace as Iganga Young FC beat Arua based Big League side Calvary FC in the round of 64 tie at Ssaza Grounds in Iganga on Tuesday.

In Hoima, Paidha Black Angels cruised to the round of 32 after a 9-8 penalty shootout win over Bujumbura United.

The two sides had played out to a 1-1 stalemate in normal time with Muber Jimmy scoring for Paidha in the first half but the hosts levelled matters deep in stoppage time to force a penalty shootout at Kibanjwa Grounds in Hoima.

Paidha Black Angels FC and Iganga Young FC join Wakiso Giants, KCCA FC, Police FC, Kajjansi United, Ateker FC, Maroons FC, UPDF FC, Bright Stars, Onduparaka FC, Mbarara City, Gaddafi FC, Busoga United, Luweero United, Rusekere Growers, Tepa and Booma into the round of 32.

Meanwhile, action in the round of 64 will resume on Wednesday, 26th with three games.

Third division side Tipsa FC will entertain Uganda Premier league side Arua Hill at Nyariro in another West Nile derby in Koboko.

In Entebbe, fourth division side Five Stars FC will host Uganda Premier league side Tooro United at Entebbe Works Ground whereas third division side Impala Hill FC will lock horns with Big League side Proline FC at Old Kampala Grounds.
