Stanbic Uganda Cup: FUFA fines Kataka for unsporting conduct

The FUFA competitions Displinary Panel has fined FUFA Big League side Kataka FC for unsporting conduct during their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 tie against Vipers at Kitende on 19th March.

Kataka FC matched off the field of play six seconds to the kick-off of the match which was live on TV. The kick off was delayed by eight minutes.

FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has fined the Big league side with UGX 1M (One Million Uganda Shillings) for unsporting conduct as they breached Articles 30(8), 31(2) and 31 (3) of the FUFA competitions rule.

Kataka FC have been given until 15th April 2022 to provide proof of payment and failure to pay shall lead to further sanctions.

Vipers progressed to the last eight of the competition following a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Yunus Sentamu, Allan Kayiwa and Paul Mucureezi.
