Stanbic Uganda Cup : Express target win over 4th tier side PCCP FC

Express FC will begin their Stanbic Uganda Cup expedition with a round of 64 tie against fourth division side People Concern Children’s Project FC (PCCP FC) on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

The reigning Uganda Premier league and CECAFA Kagame Cup champions are searching for their 11th Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

The Red Eagles and KCCA are joint Cup record winners each on 10 trophies.

PCCP FC are Makindye based side and are eyeing their first ever round of 32 slot.

Wasswa Bbosa coached side will be without skipper Enock Walusimbi and Winger Martin Kizza who are currently with the Uganda Cranes in Asia. Godfrey Lwesibawa is also out injured whereas Abel Eturude and Arthur Kiggundu are available for selection.

Meanwhile, the first game at Lugogo will be between Nsambya SC and 2019 semifinalists Kyetume FC at 1PM.

Kyetume under the stewardship of David Mutono are currently third on the FUFA Big league table with 17 points in 10 games.

Both games will be broadcasted on Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) at Lugogo.
