The defender has now won back to back Masaza cup trophies with Gomba and Ssingo respectively, he expressed his delight at the feat and now dreams of playing in Uganda’s topflight division.

“It was an unbelievable evening for me and the team to win the Masaza cup trophy. I am delighted that I have been the winning captain on back to back occasions both with Ssingo and Gomba last year.”

“This victory was so special than that of last year. I have proved in the Masaza cup tournament and I believe it’s the right time for me to think about playing in the topflight division.”

Satro praised Ssingo tactician Shafiq Bisaso for the motivating words that guided the team to their second Masaza cup trophy.

“I thank head coach Shafiq Bisaso for the motivating words, he told us after extra time that we are here to win gold not silver. Those words motivated us and I am happy for him that he also won his fourth Masaza cup trophy.”

This was Ssingo’s second Masaza cup trophy but their triumph left Buddu with bitter memories as they lost a second final to the side that humiliated them three years ago.
