Express FC hold a slim advantage over Bright stars following a first leg 1-1 stalemate at Mwerere.
Head coach George Ssimwogerere is upbeat that his team are ready to keep an eye on the prize which is to qualify for the finals.
“I believe we are good enough to make it to the finals and I don’t see anyway a side which lost to us 3-1 in the league game can defeat us.”
“He concludes by requesting the organisers to atleast try and organise the finals in fields with good playing surfaces other than what he termed as barren grounds,
” I suggest organisers should try and critically look into the playing surfaces before suggesting that the finals should be played from their good football can only be displayed in good playing surfaces I think Namboole could be the best option.”
Express is targeting their 11th tittle and will be playing Bright Stars at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku tomorrow Thursday 9th May in the return leg.
The winner on aggregate will join FUFA Big league side Proline FC who eliminated Kyetume FC 4-3 in spot Kicks.
