Veteran striker Robert Ssentongo scored the all important goal as struggling Kyetume FC completed a double over Proline FC on Sunday in a game played at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
Kyetume FC without their head coach Jackson Mayanja whose future at the club remains uncertain, his assistant David Mutono was in charge of the team.
The Mukono based side also unleashed January signing Feni Ali.
Ssentongo fired the visitors into the lead in the 13th minute with a powerful header to score his third goal of the campaign.
Few minutes later, Kyetume skipper Vincent Kayizzi nearly doubled their advantage but was denied by Shatif Magoola.
Proline duo of Hamis Diego Kizza and Joseph Mandela were both denied by Kyetume goalie Joel Mutakubwa on several occasions who was named man of the match.
In the second half half, Proline defender Mujjuzi Mustafa had a decent chance to level matters but his effort hit the woodwork.
Kyetume FC moved out of the relegation zone to 11th on the UPL log with 22 points from 20 games and will next host URA FC in their next game.
Proline FC remain bottom on the 16 team table with 15 points in 20 games and will visit SC Villa
