Ssebwato officially unveiled at Sofapaka

Former Bright Stars custodian Nicholas Ssebwato has officially been unveiled at Kenyan side Sofapaka.

Ssebwato who replaces Ismail Watenga who was released by the club will don shirt 99 at his new home.

The former SC Villa, KCCA FC, Onduparaka FC, Bright Stars and Coastal Union (Tanzania) goalie signed a two year contract and joins other 11 players who were unveiled on Friday 3rd, January by the Kenyan topflight side.

The other new signings at the club are left back Thomas Wainaina, Wisdom Naya (free agent), Brian Watende (Sofapaka Youth Team), Shwan Brian Oloo (free agent), striker Jedinak Amenyaw Nana (Channis Soccer Academy, Ghana), Joel Noukeu (Lion Blesse, Cameroon), striker George Owusu (Channis Soccer Academy, Ghana), Collins Wakhungu (Nzoia Sugar) Stephen Otieno (Sofapaka Youth team) and David Simiyu (Chemelil).

The Batoto Ba Mungu are currently eighth on the Kenyan Premier League log with 21 points garnered in 13 games. They will play Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday 4th, January at Kenyatta Stadium.
