Busoga United’s most recent game saw them beat Tooro United 3-1 at Buhinga thanks a brace from Anwar Ntege and a goal by Shaka Ssozi.
Bright Stars, who are placed second from bottom on the table, drew 1-1 with KCCA at Kavumba in the last league game to register their first point of the season.
Busoga United have received a timely return of midfielder Paul Ssekulima who has been sidelined by injury since the start of the season.
Tibita Laban is also available following a knock in the most recent game against Tooro United while Elvis Kibale is a doubt and will undergo a late fitness test.
Bright Stars have no injury concerns with all players available for selection.
Japanese midfielder Kazuto Kushida could play his first game for the club having failed to come on in the final minute during the draw against KCCA.

The teams will be facing off for the 10th time in the league since the 2016-17 season.
Bright Stars have won four of the previous meetings while Busoga United have managed to win on two occasions.
The other three games have been draws.
