Struggling Soltilo Bright Stars to confirm the reappointment of Paul Kiwanuka as their new head coach.
Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm that Kiwanuka will be confirmed as the club head coach on Tuesday in Kazo.
According to sources, interim coach Simon Peter Mugerwa will be part of Kiwanuka’s coaching staff. Mugerwa replaced Baker Mbowa who was sacked early into the season.
Kiwanuka has been unemployed since he was relieved of his duties at Vipers SC following the appointment of Brazilian tactician Robertinho Oliviera at the start of the current campaign.

At Bright Stars, he will be returning to the side he managed in the 2019/20 season and also worked in the capacity of assistant coach during Fred Kajoba’s reign for four years before the pair reuniting at Kitende.
Bright Stars have progressed to the round of 32 after a 7-6 penalty shootout win over Free Stars following a normal 1-1 draw in Mukono.
