Uganda premier league round 22 match between Soana and SC Villa has been called off due to circumstances that match referees termed as “unplayable”.
With only 20 minutes to kick off, a heavy downpour happened to the town of Wakiso and it’s outskirts which created floods at the playing surface of Kavumba recreation grounds.
Referee William Oloya and his crew inspected the pitch after the rainfall had ceased to examine whether it could allow the match to go on but their findings yielded no fruit deeming the pitch unplayable and consequently calling the match off.
The fate of fans has been unresolved of whether they will pay again or enter great of charge
Communication coming from the Uganda premier league secretariat confirms that the match has been rescheduled for tomorrow 4th April 2018 on the same venue.
