After unexpected failure of the Friday show down between Pemba Warriors and City Oilers, Warriors turn to another fixture today Sunday-22- October- 2017 at 7pm.
Warriors visits UCU Canons in their second meeting of the regular season seeking a double on UCU in the two rounds.
Warriors won the first game in July on a 5 point difference defeating UCU 65-60 in a game that saw UCU’s Chuma Afidhili score the highest points of the game, 18.
Joahas Mahet scored 14 while Pemba Warriors had Micheal Buzangu and Mark Opio scored 16 and 12 respectively.
UCU who are 5th on the roster after 17 games played, have won 3 out of their last 5 games including an overwhelming 62-58 win over Record Champions Betway Power.
They have also won 57-37 over KIU Titans, 64-56 over Ndejje University Angels while they have lost 68-75, 55-66 to StarTimes Falcons and Our Savior respectively.
Warriors lies 14th on the table having played only16 games. They have won 4 their last 5 fixtures including a 74-61 win over Ndejje University Angels, 78-58 over Falcons, 88-76 over Sharing Youths, 65-64 over Power and lost 69-80 to Titans.
