CAF has appointed Zambian experienced referee Janny Sikazwe as the center referee for the CAF Confederation Cup final this Friday 20th May.
The final will be between South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and Morocco’s RS Berkane at the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
Sikwaze, 42, is one of the most respected referees on the African continent and has already been shortlisted for the 2022 World Cup.
He however was a center of attention during the AFCON tournament in Cameroon when he prematurely ended the encounter between Mali and Tunisia early this year.
He will be assisted by Angolan Jerson Emiliano Dos Santos and Arsenio Chadreque Maringule from Mozambique.
Botswana’s Joshua Bondo will be the fourth official while Rwanda’s Michael Gasigwa will be the match commissioner.
Uganda’s Dixon Bond Okello will be the security officer.
