Shell V-Power has on Friday, 18th June announced a cash sponsorship of UGX 25 million towards three time Uganda National Rally Champion Ronald Sebuguzi.
Sebuguzi will be taking part in the World Championship Safari Rally which will be staged in Nairobi Kenya.
The three time NRC champions thanked Shell-V Power for the support and remains optimistic ahead of the Safari Rally

“The car is in good conditions and we are very set for the event in Kenya.”
The Safari Rally Championship is back on the FIA World Rally Championship calendar after a 19 year absence and it is scheduled for 24th – 27th June.
The other Ugandan drivers who will be taking part in the 18 section Safari Rally are Duncan Mubiru and his Co-driver Musa Nsubuga, Yasin Nasser with his Co- driver Ali Katumba and the pair of Walubi Kepher and Sirajih Kyambadde.
For starters, Yasin Nasser is the 2019 Uganda National Rally Champion.
The Safari Rally will also comprise of WRC championship leader Sebastien Ogier will be on to extend his lead.
Over 20 African crews will also be taking part in the 320.19kilometres rally that has previously been described as the most thrilling but enduring rally in world.
Great Britain’s Colin Mcrae was the last winner of the WRC Safari rally back in 2002.
Meanwhile, the Kenya government is the major funder of the Safari rally. More than 2million dollars has been invested in the African round.
After the Safari Rally, Sebuguzi and other Ugandan Rally drivers will turn their focus to the Pearl Africa Rally.
