The FUFA Women Super League officially kicked off on Sunday with four games played in Masindi, Nakawa, Soroti and Wakiso.
At Nakawa, She Corporate started on a winning note after beating Uganda Martyrs Lubaga 2-0 in a closely contested affair.
First half goals from new signing Grace Nasango and striker Favour Nambatya gave She Corporate a win tone.
Nasango who was making her debut following her move from Amuria, scored first from Phiona Nabbumba’s well delivered corner in the 18th minute.
Uganda Martyrs were awarded a penalty in 44th minute following a handball in the area but Brenda Munyana’s resultant kick was too feeble and well saved by goalkeeper Gift Nasasira.
She Corporate scored the second from the resultant counter attack through Nambatya’s cool finish.
