She Corporate stage come back against off colour Lady Doves

She Corporate came from a goal behind to beat Lady Doves 2-1 in a Women Super League game played at the MUBS Arena in Nakawa.

Regina Nantege and Phiona Nabbumba scored in the second half to inspire She Corporate to a come back having conceded an early goal in the 14th minute.

Fazila Ikwaput put Lady Doves upfront with a sumptuous free kick that kissed the cross bar on it’s way to the net.

Nantege, who came off the bench for Suzan Atim at the stroke of halftime, equalized for the home side in the 47th minute.

Nabbumba completed the come back with a free kick in the 74th minute and won all three points for She Corporate.

The win took She Corporate to the top of the table temporarily having garnered 10 points from four games.

Lady Doves who are defending champions, are sitting bottom of the table with only a point from four games.

The other Super League game played was in Soroti and saw Olila High School beat She Maroons 1-0 courtesy of Grace Aluka’s penalty.

The Super League will continue with one game on Sunday as UCU Lady Cardinals visit Tooro Queens at Buhinga.
