Sharif Bogere “The lion” returns to the ring

After almost a year without action due to an injury sustained during heavy weight lifting, Mayweather Promotions’ Ugandan U.S based boxer Sharif Bogere The Lion returns to ring in a non title bout.

On 21st of October in Las Vegas at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in a fight titled as The Sin City slowdown, Sharif will take on an on form Mexican, Jose Louis Rodriguez who has won 3 of his last four fights in a 10 round encounter.

Sharif got injured in 2015 but forced his way into the ring early 2016 but later advised to take sabbatical leave till full recovery. The lion has a record of 30 fights with only one loss and 20 knock out. On the other hand, his opponent Jose Louis Rodriguez has a record of 23 wins and 9 defeats ,1 draw and 13 knock outs.

Before the main event, there will be exciting talents from the Mayweather Promotions, stunning fighters will include the undefeated Welterweight division’s Sanjarbek Rakhamanov (8 wins-0 loss, 1 draw with 4KO’s), Cameron Krael ( 12 wins,12 losses, 3 KO’s) vs Shoki Sakai ( 22 wins,7 losses ,1draw and 12 KO’s) in a Welterweight division.

In Junior Middleweight Oluwafemi Oyeleye (3 wins-0 loss with 1KO), two unbeaten Lightweight boxers, Ahmed Mahmood (7 wins-0 loss -1 draw with 3KO’s) and Rolando Romero (2 win-0 loss, 2KO’s) in separate bouts plus British Olympian Savannah Marshall (1 win-0 loss), who recently made her professional debut playing under card on Maywheather vs McGregor bout.

Bogere is set to have more fights scheduled as well as a title fight in April next year as revealed by his manager Jimmy Alex. Talking about his absence in the ring. Bogere said,

“I feel better now and ready to put up a good show. It’s true I have not been fighting but I am still a better fighter and my return scares a lot of boxers”.
