Yunus Sentamu was on the score sheet for the second time this season as KF Tirana suffered a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Luftetari Gjirokastra in the Albanian Superliga action on Sunday.

Sentamu opened up the scoring at the Gjirokastra Stadium in the 36th minute and ensured Tirana head to the restrooms with the lead.

The Uganda Cranes and former Vipers striker had scored his first league goal close to a fortnight ago in a 1-1 draw against Kamza FC.

Ugandan midfielder Tony Mawejje also featured for Tirana while Sentamu was booked a minute to the mandatory halftime break.

Vasil Shkurti “Shkurtaj” leveled matters for the home side courtesy of a penalty kick 8 minutes into the second period.

The game was destined for a 1-1 draw before Kenyan forward Ismael Dunga struck the winner for the host with only two minutes to normal time.

Defeat leaves KF Tirana 8th on the 10-team log with 10 points garnered from 13 games. They will play hosts to the defending champions Skënderbeu Korçë on Sunday 26th November in their subsequent match.
