Sentamu nets four as Vipers obliterate 10 man Wakiso Giants

Douglas Bamweyana's men have now conceded 8 goals in two matches

Yunus Sentamu scored four goals as Vipers SC shred 10 man Wakiso Giants 5-0 at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende on Friday.

Ceasor Manzoki netted the other goal also his second of the current campaign as the Kitende based side cruised to back to back wins.

Wakiso defender George Kaddu was sent off after a second yellow following a reckless foul on Milton Karisa.

The Purple Sharks have now lost both of their opening two league games to KCCA FC and Vipers respectively.

Early into the game, Milton Karisa nearly fired the home side into but his effort from the free kick hit crossbar.

Moments later, Sentamu opened his account with a cool finish. The forward tapped in to double the hosts advantage in the 25th minute.

Three minutes later, Manzoki extended Vipers’ lead heading home on a rebound after custodian Samson Kirya.

At the halftime breather, the Kitende based side were into a comfortable lead.

In the second half, talisman Sentamu scored two more goals to complete his quadraple on the day the visitors were dominated.

Wakiso Custodian Samson Kirya was lucky to stay on the pitch in the final minutes of the contest for denying a goal scoring opportunity when he fouled second half substitute Ibrahim Orit but was only shown a yellow card.

Vipers are now top of the log with six points in two games while Wakiso remain winless this campaign.

Vipers will next travel to Wankulukuku against Express on 30th October while Wakiso Giants will be on the road to Police FC.
