Senkatuka hits double figures as Bright Stars outshine URA

Nelson Senkatuka scored his 10th goal of the campaign as Bright Stars stunned URA at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Senkatuka’s lone goal came in the 29th minute and ultimately condemned the tax collectors to their third defeat of the season.

URA would have levelled matters through gangly defender Benjamin Nyakojo whose effort was thwarted by Hamza Muwonge moments into the second half.

Sam Ssimbwa brought on Matthew Odong Tayo and Peter Lwasa for Charles Sempa and Joachim Ojera in search for an equalizer.

Bright Stars also introduced John Kokas Opejo and Dan Birikwalira for Alfred Onek and Moses Okot

Fred Kajoba’s men held on to clinch their 8th win of the season.

The result sent to the 10th position with 34 position whereas URA remained third with 43 points from 26 league games.
