Simba Queens thrashed Burundi’s PVP FC Buyenzi 4-1 thanks to goals from Congolese striker Flavine Mawette Musolo (brace), Zimbabwean Danai Bbobho and Aisha Mnunka.

Rajab Buyinza the Lady Doves Associate Coach says his team is aware of what is at stake and will only have to settle for nothing but victory against a tough side.

” Every game is a final. We won’t be complacent either because in case we lose the game, we will be drawn into unnecessary calculations. We just want that automatic slot .”

Buyinza says.

“All teams here are champions in their respective nations so we are going to be hoping for a good result. We shall be hoping to capitalize on the errors made by our opponents so as to score and ultimately win the encounter.”

The eventual winning team from this tie will be qualifying for the semi finals with a game to spare.

Lady Doves will look up to their star striker Ikwaput alongside other senior players in the team like Nabbosa and goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro who also turns out as the captain.

” We are in a very fine mood and every player is focused to secure nothing but a positive result. The game is very crucial because it will determine whether we are to be the group leaders or not.”

Nakaziro said after the club’s final training on Monday.

The other group game will be played at 1pm between FAD FC and PVP FC Buyenzi.
