Erisa Keith Sekisambu has been unveiled among the 8 new signings at Kenyan champions Gor Mahia today morning in Nairobi.
The former Vipers and SC Villa striker signed a two year contract with the K’Oghalo as a free agent at the end of October.
Sekisambu joined his compatriot and left back Shafik Batambuze “Bhachu” who also joined Gor Mahia from Tanzanian side Singida United on a two year deal.
Unlike Sekisambu, Batambuze has already made his debut for the 17-time champions in a friendly game against Everton in the United Kingdom.
The other new faces include defender Kenneth Maguna who is on a return from Albania after parting ways with KF Tirana.
Erick Ombija (striker from Gor Mahia Youth team), Castro Ogendo (Midfielder from Kenyatta University), Pascal Ogweno (Defender from Kariobangi Sharks), Geoffrey Ochieng (Defender from Western Stima), Kenneth Maguna (Defender from KF Tirana), Nicholas Kipkirui (Striker from Zoo Kericho), Shafik Batambuze (Defender from Singida United) and Erisa Keith Sekisambu (Striker from Vipers SC).
Gor Mahia will take on Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets in the CAF Champions League preliminary round on Wednesday 28th November at the Moi Sports Complex, Kasarani.
The club has also received a total of over 50 applications for their vacant head coach position following the resignation of Dylan Kerr close to a fortnight ago.
