Pyramids FC have officially terminated the contract of former Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre following a string of poor results.
Desabre has been relieved of his duties two days after the club’s 3-2 loss to Allan Kyambadde’s lowly placed El Gounah FC.
The Frenchman had failed to register a win at home since October and recently lost to Zamalek 2-0 after being held to a 2-2 draw by new comers Aswan FC.
He has been replaced Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi and leaves the Cairo based side eighth on the table with only 12 points after eight games.
Desabre however navigated Pyramids in their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign and leaves them leading the Group A table with six points from two games.
Overall, Desabre managed 18 games in the Pyramids dug out and won 12 times, drew four and lost twice.
Pyramids FC is also a home to Uganda Cranes winger Abdul Lumala.
He becomes the second former Cranes coach to be sacked in Egypt after Milutin Sredojevic Micho was shown exit at Zamalek early this month.
