By: Gladys Zawedde

With the 3rd place sealed already, SC Villa will make no mistake but to hand a chance to some of their fringe players as they host BUL FC for their final game of the season.

This hands them a glorious opportunity to rest their first team players who have a Uganda cup semifinal match against Vipers at Mutesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Sunday 27th.

Confirming the move, head coach Wasswa Bbosa said,

” I have no reason as to why I play my first team yet we have a crucial game on Sunday, this will will give chance to the players that haven’t been starting to prove what they can do”

“Samson Kirya, Ambrose Kirya and George Senkaba are injured yet captain Bernard Muwanga is nursing a minor injury sustained against Prolin. Any team that we put will be able to honour the fixture”.

SC Villa is third placed with 55 points from 29 games as their opponents BUL FC are 9th with 36 points from the same number of games.

SC Villa played to a barren stalemate against relegation threatened Proline FC away in their recent fixture at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.

BUL FC lost to KCCA FC 2-1 at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo after Derrick Nsibambi denying them chance to move away with a point scoring the winner in the last minute of the game.
