SC Villa are set to complete the signing of forward Marvin Kavuma on a three year contract.
Swift Sports understands that SC Villa have been in negotiations with the players’ representatives that are in advanced stages.
Kavuma has in the recent times been training with Villa and garnered interest of the team’s technical department.
He has been playing for Buddu in the Masaza Cup tournament and previously featured for Kamwokya United.
Kavuma played for Aidenal SOSA in the recently concluded Futsal Super League season and scored nine goals in the process.
He is expected to boost Villa’s forward line that also has Isaac Ogwang and Francis Olaki who were the club’s most used strikers last season.
SC Villa have also agreed terms with defender Henry Katongole, former KCCA left full back Joseph Kafumbe as well as youngster Umar Lutalo as the transfer window nears climax.
The club already unveiled youngsters Ismail Mugulusi, Travis Mutyaba, Kenneth Semakula, Iddi Abdul Wahid and Oscar Mawa.
Masaza Cup winning trio of Charles Bbaale, Bayo Arshavin Ali and Gift Fred have also signed for the record champions.
Goalkeeper Yiga Joseph who is yet to be unveiled, also signed a two year contract with the club as earlier reported by this website.
