After sealing moves for promising youngsters Isma Mugulusi, Kenneth Semakula and Oscar Mawa, SC Villa have now finalised the required documentation to sign striker Idd Abdul Wahid.

Abdul Wahid and his representatives have agreed to sign a three year deal with SC Villa and he will be unveiled upon passing a medical.

The former Onduparaka Junior team striker rose to stardom when he top scored for the national U17 team 5th CECAFA championships that also served as the qualification avenue for AFCON U17 2019.

He was also named by Ghanaian coach Fabi Kwasi Apaa in Uganda’s squad that featured in the country’s first ever U17 AFCON in Tanzania where they failed to qualify from a group that had Nigeria, Angola and hosts Tanzania.

He was later scouted to join Italian side FC Cagliari’s academy.

Under unclear circumstances, the youngster left Italy after only three months and returned home to sign for the Big league side Arua Hill.

His performances for the Kongolo are not traceable as Ceaser Okhuti and Alfred Leku were the club’s recognised strikers.
