SC Villa new signing proud to be part of the “winning team”

SC Villa have officially unveiled youngster Geoffrey Goffin Oyirwoth who signed a two year deal with the club.

Oyirwoth was a free agent having spent the better part of last season club-less since leaving Express FC.

In a video posted on the club’s official platforms, Oyirwoth says he is proud to be part of a winning team.

” I’m glad that I have signed for SC Villa. I’m proud that I’m going to be part of the winning team. The great team. Fans should expect good football from me and winning trophies.”

Born on 5th June 2000, the young offensive midfielder joined Express after his scintillating performances with Buddo SS in the school’s competitions in 2019. He also featured for Typhoons Futsal Club in the Futsal Super League.

SC Villa have so far unveiled Oyirwoth, goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige and former Express left back Andrew Kiwanuka.

The 16-time champions have also signed center back Nasser Lukwago who is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
