SC Villa cruise to a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Tooro United


Edward Kaziba has registered his biggest victory since his appointment at the start of the season.

Ambrose Kirya opened the floodgates for the Jogoos with a goal of the season contender when he spotted Chrispus Kusiima off his line and he sent a bullet in goal.

Moments later, Kirya bounced back with another brilliant goal. He leapt high to connect Ibrahim Kibumba’s perfect cross in the 16th minute.

The first 45 minutes ended with SC Villa in the driving seat.

When the match resumed, Faisal Muwawu opened his Villa account with a tap in following Emmanuel Kalyowa’s powerful ball inside the area in the 57th minute.

Yafesi Mubiru pulled a goal back for Tooro United in the 64th minute.

In additional minutes of the match, substitute Nicholas Kabonge also opened his SC Villa account to make the game 4-1.

SC Villa ascend to 3rd place on the log with 20 points and Tooro United remain 12th on 13 points.
