SC Villa asks Keni to leave and releases six others

Record champions SC Villa have confirmed the exit of defender Derrick Ndahiro, strikers Faisal Muwawu and Fahad Bardiro and captain Asuman Kihogo Harishe.

The club confirmed the development in a statement signed by “Management” stating that the aforementioned players had run out of contract.

“Sports club Villa thanks the following players whose contracts the club has officially opted not to renew for the coming 2021/22 season”

They further stressed that contracts of defender Andrew Kiwanuka, Nasser Lukwago, goalkeeper Said Keni and midfielder Emmanuel Wasswa have been terminated .

Emmanuel Wasswa was however early this week unveiled by KCCA FC as their player.

Faisal Muwawu joined SC Villa three seasons ago from Busoga United FC whom he joined from Masavu FC when they were relegated to the Big league.

Asuman Harishe was suspended by the club mid last season due to disciplinary reasons.

Derrick Ndahiro has already found a new home at URA FC and he is expected to be unveiled soon.

Fahad Bardiro has struggled for playing time at the 16 time record champions since joining them in 2018 from DR Congo’s DC Motema Pembe.

Villa have also resolved to terminate Saidi Keni’s contract on grounds of indiscipline and it is believed that he is among the senior players who led a strike due to none payment.

Young Martin Senkoto is lined up to move in the pecking order behind Meddie Kibirige.
