SC Villa appoint Greek tactician as Kaziba’s replacement


SC Villa have appointed Greek tactician Petros Koukouras as their new head coach.

According to Kawowo Sports Koukouras has put pen to paper on a three year employment contract with the 16 time Uganda Premier League champions.

Koukouras is expected to touchdown in the country in Thursday 16th September, 2021 aboard Turkish Airlines.

The former South Sudan National team head coach is a UEFA A licensed coached replaces Edward Kaziba who has served at the helms for the last two seasons.

He has previously served at Apollon Kalamarias, Desn Youth Football Club in Guangdong (China), Real Madrid Foundation Clinics, Pacific Heroes and South Sudan National team.

He becomes the fifth foreign tactician to manage at the club, the others are Englishman Geoff Hudson, Serbia’s Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, Serbian Zivojnov Srdjan and Spanish Antonio Flores.

The club is also set to name former KCCA FC junior team coach Jackson Magera as the Junior team head coach.
