After his move to KCCA, new recruit Saddam Juma has promised to have a glittering career at the new club ,the former Express captain and Viper midfielder signed a 3 year contract with the Azam premier league champions ,and he was given the iconic shirt 23 previously donned by Joseph Ochaya and former poster boy Brian Umony

Saddam Juma has been instrumental in Express success in the Uganda cup helping them reach the semifinals,where they will meet his new employees Kcca.

Asked on why he left the red eagles, “l left Express not because of money or playing time but to go to a club with greater ambitions and ready to compete on the continental level and Kcca has those credentials”, He is expected to bolster Kcca’s squad to challenge in the CAF confederations cup group stages and is likely to be named in the squad for the trip to Morocco to face FUS Rabat this weekend.

The Midfielder will not take part in any domestic games for the champions elect this season,and will automatically not feature in the Uganda cup semifinals against his former club Express.

At Express,” coach Matia Lule believes the club has good players who can put up great performances as Saddam and he has wished his former captain well’, Saddam Juma now joins Vincent kayizzi whom he played along with at Vipers and Express.
Saddam Juma has now become the second Express captain just in a year to join Kcca.

Saddam Juma also spoke about his new coach Mike Mutebi,” he is a great coach and a honest man who always wants players to deliver and believes in himself”, the midfielder also believes that both Vincent Kayizzi and Robert Ssentongo who have always had limited time in Mutebi’s starting eleven,” believes they are exceptional talents and he feels great to work with them and the entire team.

Saddam also spoke about his time at Vipers which he says was a success,since he won various titles with the St Kitende based side,
He also wishes Express all the best and believes the club has great players to move it to greater success.
