Amavubi Stars head coach Vincent Mashami has handed a dream call up to Ugandan based midfielder Isaac Nsengiyumva of Express FC to the national team.
Nsengiyumva joined Express last season from regional league side Free Stars FC on a three year deal.
The central midfielder however has struggled to break into the starting eleven which has established midfielders like Mahad Yaya Kakooza, Muzamir Mutyaba, Daniel Shabena and Abel Eturude.
He also failed to make the cut for the 20 man squad to Dar es Salam for the CECAFA Kagame cup but Rwandese scouts couldn’t resist to include him into their plans.
The squad also has two other Ugandan born players in Meddi Kagere who plays for Tanzania champions Simba SC and Denis Rukundo who joined AS Kigali last month from Uganda Police FC.
Rwanda are in World Cup qualifying group E alongside Uganda , Kenya and Mali.
