Robert Achema confirms move to Western stima fc in the Kenya premier league

Labelling him a journey man would be an understatement, at such a young age (24) Robert Achema has now moved to his 4th club. He joins the Kenyan outfit after having run out contract at Sports Club Villa. He ended last season at BUL FC on loan who had earlier sold him to Villa in the summer of 2015/16 for a 2nd stint. Achema also played for Sadolin paints FC in the first round of last season.

The midfielder has managed a total of 4 goals in the just concluded season on the Uganda premier league . He has also featured for all the national team set ups having played for the Uganda Kobs (U23) and U20s ( the Hippos)

” I have agreed a 1 year deal with Western Stima Fc and only pending is completion of my International transfer certificate (ITC) , I hope to help the team improve it’s results and move up the log, Said Achema.

Western Stima Football Club are based in Kakamega. The team host their home games primarily at the Bukhungu Stadium, but also at the Moi Stadium. They currently lie 17th on the table just a point ahead of 18th placed Mathare United in a league topped by Gor Mahia at 27 points , they have also signed center back Joseph Mukisa Junior from BUL FC  and Vincent Omumbo on a six-month loan deal from Tursker FC in a move to uplift their results after having released 13 of their under performing players.
