Ugandan female forward RItah Kivumbi has extended her stay at Swedish second tier club Mallbackens IF to one more year.
Kivumbi scored five league goals in the 24 games and managed one goal in the two Cup games she played last season.
She helped Mallbackens IF finish 9th on the table of 14 clubs after they garnered 32 points from the 26 league games played.
Kivumbi joined Mallbackens in 2020 from Vaxjo DFF and subsequently scored seven goals and registered three assists in her debut season.
Born to Lameck Kivumbi and Hasifa Nabiteko 25 years ago, Ritah Kivumbi left Uganda for Sweden in 2015 where she featured for Vaxjo DFF alongside her compatriot Violah Nambi Ssebunya.
Kivumbi played for the Uganda U-20 team that obliterated South Sudan 22-0 over two legs in 2013. Just like Sandra Nabweteme, she also scored a hat trick in both legs.
She is a former St. Mary’s Kitende and Lubiri SS student who also played for UCU Lady Cardinals.
Kivumbi is represented by the World In Motion agency that also represents Violah Nambi and the recently crowned 2021 Female MVP Fauzia Najjemba.
