Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca have opened negotiations with Busoga United striker Joel Madondo.
According to Magreb Foot, Madondo is currently in Morocco for negotiations with the Wydad Casablanca.
The Moroccan record champions are also chasing Fahad Bayo and Allan Okello signatures from Vipers SC and KCCA FC respectively.
Madondo scored in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup final as Uganda Cranes humbled Eritrea 3-0 in Kampala to win the championship for a 15th time.
The Busoga United forward has also represented Uganda on the U23 level.
He is a former Student at St. Mary’s Kitende, sprung to consciousness courtesy of the National Post Primary Schools competition featuring for Bishop McAllister, Risah Standard and Jinja SSS.
Should the deal materialize, Madondo will become the second Ugandan at the former African champions following Murushid Jjuuko who was released last month.
