REPORTS: Murushid Jjuuko set to join Wydad Casablanca

Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuuko is set to join Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.

Jjuuko is currently a free agent after his contract with Tanzanian side Simba SC expired.

The Ugandan Cranes defensive kingpin is set to put pen to paper ona two year contract with the former African champions.

Jjuuko has in the past turned out for the now defunct SC Victoria University, Bunamwaya FC (now Vipers) and Entebbe Young.

He has been a mainstay in Uganda Cranes campaigns and was part of the team that represented Uganda in the recently concluded AFCON.

Should the deal materialize, Jjuuko will join Moulodia Club’s Milton Karisa as another Ugandan plying trade in the Moroccan Botola League.

He will also become the fourth Ugandan to complete a move to North Africa since the AFCON climax.

Emmanuel Okwi has joined Ittihad Alexandria, Khalid Aucho joined Misr El Makkasa while Abdu Lumala will turn up for Pyramids FC all in Egypt.

Midfielder Tadeo Lwanga is currently in Egypt and on the verge of completing a move to the Egyptian top-flight league.
