REPORT: KCCA versatile defender agrees terms of a new contract


KCCA FC and versatile defender Peter Magambo “Machete” have reached a compromise of a new contract.

According to The Sports Nation show of Gugudde TV, the negotiations between the club and Magambo’s representatives have emerged successful a new contract will be signed.

Magambo will put pen to paper on a three year contract as his initial contact comes to an end early next year.

A graduate of the KCCA Soccer Academy, Magambo was elevated to the senior team in 2017 alongside Allan Okello, Mustafa Kizza, Noel Nasasira and Herbert Achai.

He has featured in 49 games for the Mike Mutebi coached side scoring two goals in the process notably one against Al Ahly in KCCA’s 4-3 loss on his continental debut.

Magambo played an integral part as KCCA won the CECAFA Kagame Cup after 41 years in Rwanda last year.

He is expected to feature in KCCA’s defensive department that also has new signing Denis Iguma, John Revita, Samuel Kato Nemeyimana and Musa Ramathan among others.
