Rashid Agau strikes twice to inflict more pain on Mwebaze

Maroons FC came from a goal down to defeat Nyamityobora FC courtesy of a Rashid Agau’s brace securing their second win of the season.

Juma Dada had put Asaph Mwebaze’s side in the lead in the first half before Agau equalised at the halftime stoppage.

Agau Rashid restored Maroons FC’s lead in the second period and hence inspiring them to their second win of the season.

The result takes the Prison warders to 12th with 10 points from 11 games leaving Nyamityobora FC second last on the log of 16 with the same number of games.

A brace takes Agau to 6 goals one goal behind Bright Stars’s Nelson Senkatuka , SC Villa’s Bashir Mutanda and Kirinya Jinja SS’s Joel Madondo who are tied on 7 goals and he was named Pilsner man of the match.

Both teams will play next on Friday 14th December as Maroons faces Tooro United while Nyamityobora FC will be hosting Ndejje University at Kakyeka Stadium Mbarara.
