Cape Town City 3-1 Black Leopards
Allan “Dancing Rasta” Kateregga was on the score sheet for the first time for his Cape Town City side beat Black Leopards 3-1 in the Premier Soccer League action at the Cape Town stadium on Sunday.
Ayanda Patosi had put Cape Town City in the lead inside the first 10 minutes but Mwape Musonda leveled matters moments later.
Kateregga would have found the back of the net in the 35th minute but his effort from outside the box missed the target by inches.
The Uganda international finally broke the duck 3 minutes later to give Cape Town City a 2-1 half time lead.
The former KCCA dreadlocked forward was then booked in the 51st minute following a foul.
Siphelele Mthembu put the game beyond reasonable doubt with a third goal for the Ben McCarthy coached side 5 minutes to normal time.
Victory springs Cape Town City to the 8th position on the table with 13 points collected from 10 games while Black Leopards remain languishing in the 14th place with 9 points from 11 games.
Kateregga will now head to Uganda ahead of the Uganda Cranes penultimate game against Cape Verde in the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers at Namboole on Saturday 17th November.
