The FUFA Big League 2021/22 second round resumes this evening on Thursday 10th-February-2022 with five games.
Third placed Kyetume FC will target the top of the summit when they visit relegation threatened Luweero United at Kosovo grounds in Kasana Luweero.
Kyetume FC have 17 points, just one below table leaders Blacks Power and second placed Kataka FC.
Luweero United FC are eighth with 11 points from ten games, only one position above the drop zone.
Victory will help Kyetume go on top with hope that Blacks Power falters against Kitara FC at Aki Bua Stadium.
David Mutono Kyetume FC’s head coach called upon his side to fight hard for victory as it is the only way they can maintain themselves in the top three hence bounce back to top flight,
“It is not going to be an easy task but I ask to my players to give it all so that we can move away with victory.”
“It is tough second with six games away but we will do the best to maintain ourselves in the top three positions.” Mutono added
The Slaughters managed to capture the signatures of Allan Mugalu, Steven Ategeka, Yusuf Ssaka, Deo Isejja while Hakim Kyotakalire and Zayid Ssetimba were promoted from the club’s Junior team
They lost Joshua Kigozi, Steven Kabuye, Augustine Opoka, Felix Okot and Cephas Kambugu.
At the end of the season the top three sides will be promoted to the top flight while the bottom placed three are to relegated to their respective regional leagues
