KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi is still hopeful they have a chance to defend the title with just a few games left to play despite the 4 points difference between them and the table leaders. He put it that;

“We should still be focused on trying to retain the league. Vipers has an advantage but we should keep fighting by winning all our games” Mutebi pointed during the pre-match press conference at Lugogo.

The reverse fixture of this encounter ended in 2-1 in favour of Proline FC with Daniel Isiagi scoring both goals.

The previous 11 encounters between these two sides have seen KCCA FC win 6 times, drawing twice and Proline wining the other 3 encounters.
