Proline seek for back to back wins as they host leaders Vipers

DAVID GOMBE

Proline FC will welcome Vipers SC on Tuesday evening at StarTimes Stadium.

Proline come into this contest after a 2-1 win over Maroons at Luzira Prisons Grounds on Saturday while Vipers SC overcame Kyetume FC 1-0 in their previous game.

In their first meeting this season, the Kitende outfit needed a Fahad Bayo sole goal to overcome Proline at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Vipers head coach Edward Golola has warned his charges about the Proline threat

“We know how desperately both teams need the three points but only one can get the best from this game. The fixtures are as tight as you can see and we have cautioned the boys not to get so comfortable because we are not yet there.” Stated Golola.

During his time at Proline, Bayo is remembered for scoring the equalizing goal in this fixture as the two sides played to a 2-2 draw in 2017.

Farouk Musisi and Rahmat Ssenfuka will be facing their former paymasters. On the other hand, Diego Hamis Kiiza will taking on his former side Vipers.

Allan Kayiwa, Abraham Ndugwa and Bobos Byaruhanga are likely to return on the visitors side having recovered from Malaria and respective injuries.

Custodian Fabien Mutombora will miss the game as he is away in Burundi to pay the last respects to his fallen father.

The home side will be without skipper Mustafa Mujjuzi who is suspended after he was sent off against Maroons.

Proline FC will look up to Kiiza who netted a brace at Maroons alongside Noordin Bunjo for inspiration.

Paul Mucurezi will be expected to impress again following his debut goal against Kyetume FC last week.
