Proline FC will face Malawian cup winners masters Security Services for the their debut appearance in the CAF competitions.
The Security services owned team finished 11th last season and they were only promoted to the Malawian premier league 3 years ago.
They also competed in the CAF champions league last year but were eliminated at the first preliminary round.
Aggregate winners from this tie will face the winner between AS Kigali of Rwanda and KMC of Tanzania in the second and penultimate round.
Proline will host the first leg on the weekend of 9-11th and visit Blantyre on the weekend of 23rd -25th August.
