Proline aims at getting back to winning ways as strugglers Entebbe FC host Wakiso Giants


FUFA Big League is back on matchday 10 with 10 games on the day.

Elgin group leaders Wakiso Giants avisit struggling Entebbe FC at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.

The Allan Kabonge coached side has only managed one win from their last nine games.

Wakiso Giants currently top the Elgon group with 16 points as their opponents are 8th with only 8 points.

This fixture will see shot stopper Mansoor Mutumba and James Kasibante facing their former pay masters whom they represented last season before being renamed from Masavu FC.

Rwenzori group leaders Kiboga Young FC are unbeaten in 8 games, they will entertain fellow debutants Dove FC at Bamusuuta grounds.

Kiboga Young made it to top of the log after defeating Proline FC 2-1 at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo courtesy of Brian Mugume and Isaac Otto who scored in the first and second halves respectively.

Felix Kawooya Sekabuza the man behind Kiboga young’s impressive form has vowed to ensure that his team continue to fly higher and punch above their weight.

“We are very set for this encounter and we only expect positive results, we would not set the bar so high our primary target this season is surviving the drop and I am very sure that we are going to achieve this.”

Second placed Proline FC will target getting back to winning ways as they pay a visit to Kansai Plascon at Bishops Grounds in Mukono.

Kansai Plascon lie 3rd on the Rwenzori group only two points behind Shafik Bisaso’s men.

Having lost to Dove all Stars home 2-1 Alex Isabirye’s men Kyetume FC make a long trip to debutants Nebbi Central at Nebbi Grounds.

Kyetume FC are third in the Elgon group with 12 points as Nebbi Central is second last on the log of 11 teams with 7 points.

Proline FC fell to debutants Kiboga Young FC in their recent fixture home at StarTimes.

Fresh from their first win of the season against Water FC, Kira United pay a visit to fellow strugglers Bumate United.

Both sides are in the relegation zone and have managed only one win from their past fixtures.

Incostitent Kitara FC will entertain Ntinda United at Kigaya Grounds Hoima, Kitara FC have 12 points from 8 games as their opponents are 9th in the Rwenzori with only 5 points from 9 games.

Steven Bogere’s UPDF FC will play debutants Light SS at Amuria SS Grounds.
